I take the time to develop a rapport with my students, and tailor my teaching to the individual, discovering what they find difficult, how they see and experience music, their instrument, differently. This helps me to make sure each students gets the most out of their lessons.

I aim to give students a thorough experience of the physical aspects of playing. Playing is a very physical – and therefore individual – experience; our bodies are all different, some things we find natural and easy, other things difficult. But to speak properly on any instrument, we must feel the interaction with it, and we can use use this to work on areas we find difficult.
